Will you be able to survive the swarms of spiders?
You only have a giant blade and a ton of powerups to help you.
Try not to die and get the highest score in this tiny 2 button-controls game.
Heavy blade is a tiny game created for 8bitstoinfinity/scorejam game jam.
My first game created on Itch.io and for a game jam, therefore it needs a lot of tuning!
The goal was to create a game within 3 days with certain limitations:
-Arcade controls
-Highscore system implemented in order for players to be able to compete
-The theme was "Swarms"

I like how the music compliments gameplay. I felt motivated to keep trying kindof for score, but almost more so to hear more of the music... great combination!
